Mason Storm studies Hawaiian Martial Arts Under Grand Master Steve Spry.
He holds the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt, in American Kenpo. Mr. Spry's
system is a combination of Kenpo, Lua, Lima-Lama, Ju-Jitsu, and Aikido. Mr.
Spry is direct lineage to American Kenpo Pioneer Ed Parker. He himself is
regarded as one of the “Old School Bad Boys”, with a lifetime of dedication
to the Arts. He holds National, and International victories, and has been Honored
by Black Belt Magazine, as well as multiple other publications.
Mason Storm also studies Muay Thai, Which is Thai Kickboxing.
He has trained at MTA for 2 years.
Mason started in the Martial Arts at a young age. After studying Chito-Ryu, Shotokan,
and Aiki-jujitsu as a child, Mason took a break. When he climbed back into the arts he
found his home in Kenpo.
“Kenpo is best represented by fire, it is beautiful to look at, but deadly to touch”.
Mason Has Studied under his Teacher, Grand Master Steve Spry for 7 years, and
achieved the rank of Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt in April of 2004. Mason was
promoted to Second Degree Black Belt in May of 2007. He would like to thank his other
instructors over the years, and the people that support his art. Mason respects being a
“Sensei”, and understands the Responsibility that comes with it. While Mason continues
to branch out, and study other arts, his home style will always be Kenpo. Mason Also
Studies Thai Kickboxing, which he believes is the best stand up fighting there is.
“You just can’t fake Muay Thai, we get in, we bang around, and you leave tougher
every time. We combine kicks, punches, knees, and elbows into deadly combinations”.
